CEBU, Philippines – Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia says unity can also be achieved by holding events like beauty pageants and festivals where there is a sense of community involvement that sets aside political colors and political diversion.
According to her, some contingents that are joining the 3rd Pasigarbo sa Sugbo are coming from neighboring islands and it's their first time to join such event.
"Everyone is contemplating in helping kay nilabang pa gyud sila og dagat unya first time pa gyud nila nga moari sa siyudad," she said.
