CEBU, Philippines - Two young men and a juvenile were arrested yesterday dawn for allegedly taking part in a shooting incident involving Bloods and Crips gang members at Logarta Street in barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
SPO3 Alfredo Andales of the Subangdaku Police station yesterday said all mobile patrol cars in the city immediately responded to a caller who claimed seeing youngsters firing guns in the area.
Andales said the police from Subangdaku arrested three youngsters while the rest escaped.
Arrested were Eduardo Labrador, 18, of sitio Mahusay in barangay Subangdaku for firing a gun at another, Reige Inglatera, 18, who resides in Green Valley, barangay Lahug, Cebu City, and a 13-year-old.
Seized from Labrador was a cal. 38 homemade gun. Inglatera sustained a gunshot wound on his left foot. Police found four cal. 45 bullets in Inglatera’s possession. He is recuperating at the Mandaue City Hospital.
The juvenile was turned over to the City Social Welfare Services office.
SPO3 Andales said all the three suspects have admitted belonging to the Bloods gang, which allegedly controls the Makro area.
Charges have been prepared against the suspects. (FREEMAN NEWS)
