Close to P6 million worth of cocaine was seized by operatives of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 7 of the Police Regional Office 7, with the Lapu-Lapu City police taking part in the operation.
The operation seized 12 packs of cocaine but the operatives conducted a follow-up operation where they seized one more kilo of cocaine in Borongan, Eastern Samar.
Vedasto Jubahid Corsiga, 53, was arrested in a buy-bust operation inside a food chain in Barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City, with 12 medium packs of cocaine were seized
Corsiga, a native of Tubigon town in Bohol, at first refused to identify the source of the drugs, claiming the cocaine was only “delivered” to him by a courier sent by his “source” who only communicated to him through the cellular phone.
