Namesake of massage parlor owner clears air

CEBU, Philippines - An official of a development corporation wrote to The FREEMAN to clarify that he is not the Glen Lim referred to as one of the owners of a massage parlor recently raided by the National Bureau of Investigation for allegedly serving as a front for a prostitution den.

Glenn Ng Lim, operations manager of Kenrich Development Corp., through his lawyer Joel Seno, said his attention was called by his friends who read the news article in The FREEMAN last July 18 about the raid of Stress Free Massage Parlor where eight masseurs were rescued.

Lim said he is not the same Glen Lim mentioned in the article as one of the owners.

According to him, he is not in anyway related or connected to the said establishment.

Glenn Ng Lim said that he is an advocate of the advancement of animal rights and has been a long-time member of the Taipan Toastmasters Club.

The FREEMAN also did not accuse him of any wrong doing, like he said it was just a coincidence that the owner of the establishment was his namesake. — Fred P. Languido/BRP (THE FREEMAN)
