CEBU - The parents of an entertainer who was set to leave for Korea filed a case against Sulpicio Lines Incorporated yesterday in connection with the sinking of the MV Princess of the Stars last June 21.
Spouses Argita and Eduardo Cabucos filed a P10.6 million damage suit against the shipping company, its officials and the ship captain for the death of their daughter, Delia.
Before her death, Delia has been contracted to work as an entertainer in Korea.

Named defendants were Sulpicio Lines Inc, ship captain Florencio Marimon, and its officials SLI President Enrique Go and Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Carlos Go.
Aside from seeking compensation for Delia’s loss of income, the complainants also asked P800,000 in moral and exemplary damages, attorney’s fees and 20 percent of the total monetary award.
