CEBU - Another minor yesterday filed a formal complaint against Faustino Cabrera, the private school teacher who recently posted bail after being charged for acts of lasciviousness.
The 16-year-old complainant alleged that he met Cabrera in July last year at a bank in an uptown mall after Cabrera allegedly lured him to some cash. The complainant said he met the suspect through a friend who told him that the latter was gay and would use kids for money.
They also allegedly boarded Cabrera’s grey sedan and went to the parking area of the mall where Cabrera made him watch a porn video on his laptop.
After Cabrera allegedly “used” him, he was reportedly paid P60.
At least two boys earlier claimed that Cabrera would invite them inside his vehicle and take nude photos of them.
Cabrera was caught in an entrapment operation inside a mall when he arranged a meeting with one of the minors.
Eighteen earlier complaints for acts of lasciviousness have been filed against Cabrera.
Councilor Gerardo Carillo said the city would provide legal assistance and trauma debriefing sessions for the victims. Barangay officials have also promised to encourage other “victims” to file charges. — Jasmin R. Uy/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
