He lost everything but the kitchen sink.
After a Koreans were robbed in one of three incidents the other day, another Korean became the subject of a robbery yesterday in barangay Banilad.
The incident occurred when businessman Jimmy Kim was out of his house, making it a breeze for the suspect to take away his kitchen utensils. Kim is from Buchon, South Korea and is here in the Philippines temporarily.
Police said the burglar might have entered the house through a sliding window using a false key. The burglar then took away kitchen items such as plates, knives, chopsticks, spoons and forks, and even towels.
The burglar also destroyed the knobs of the doors of the three rooms in the house presumably to get valuable items but only the air conditioning unit was found to be forcibly removed, albeit unsuccessfully.
The three robberies last Saturday occurred in barangays Camputhaw, Day-as and Guadalupe wherein suspects fled with laptops, mobile phones and other expensive items.
Police had promised follow-up investigations on the four incidents. — Cressida Paula G. Delmo/JMO
