A man and his two sons are now detained at Bantayan Police Station after they allegedly stabbed their 25-year-old relative following a fight the other night.
The suspects were identified as Victoriano Apawan Sr., 47, and his two sons, Vicmar, 21, and Victoriano Jr., 19, while the victim is identified as Doroteo Forrosuelo.
The victim and suspects are both residing in barangay Hilotongan, Bantayan town.
SPO4 Melquides Seares Jr. said prior to the incident, Vicmar and Forrosuelo were engaged in a brawl, which was later pacified by the residents in the area.
Vicmar then reportedly had a drinking session with his friends in his house, during which he asked his friends if they could go with him to the house of Forrosuelo.
“Nagsige og inom sa iyang barkada, basin gikargahan tingali ang suspetsado unya mao nga nanulong sa balay sa biktima,” the police said.
Later, Vicmar, his father and brother reportedly went to Forrosuelo’s house armed with a bladed weapon and stabbed the victim, who was hit in different parts of his body.
The victim was rushed to the Bantayan District Hospital and was already declared out of danger. The suspects were immediately arrested by the responding police.
