From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, VECO will facilitate the upgrading of lines and installation of new transformer that will affect portion of North Town Homes, specifically along Roselia Street.
Tomorrow, Saturday, from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m., power interruptions will hit portions of barangay Labogon, Mandaue City to facilitate the upgrading of lines and installation of new transformer.
On the same day, from 5 a.m. to 5:05 a.m., VECO will facilitate transfer of load from Mandaue Substation to TransCo's GIS Feeder 2 that will affect barangay Mabolo, Cebu City and portions of barangays Banilad, Bakilid, Cambaro, Centro, Estancia, Guizo, entire barangay Looc, and portions of Maguikay, Mantoyong, Subangdaku, Tabok, Tingub, and Tipolo all in Mandaue City.
Also on Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., portions of barangay Lahug, Cebu City will also have no electricity due to upgrading of lines in the area.
And from 6 a.m. to 6:05 a.m., VECO will facilitate the transfer of load from Paknaan Substation to Transco's GIS Feeder 5 that will affect portions of barangays Alang-alang, Basak, Cambaro, Estancia, Guizo, Ibabao, Labogon, Maguikay, Opao, Paknaan, Tabok, Umapad, and Tungasan, Mandaue City. Also to be affected are portions of Poblacion and Tugbungan, Consolacion.
On Sunday, from 1 a.m. to 1:15 a.m., VECO will transfer the EMT 414 protective device that will affect the entire barangays of Biasong, Bulacao, Candulawan, Cansojong, Dumlog, Lagtang, Lawaan, Linao, Maghaway, San Roque, Pook, Tangke and portions of barangay Mohon, San Isidro and Tabunok all in Talisay City. Other areas that will be affected are entire barangays of Bulacao Pardo, Inayawan, Labangon, portions of barangay Mambaling and Poblacion Pardo, Cebu City.
On the same day, power interruptions will also be experienced in the entire barangay of Calamba, portions of Labangon, Mambaling, Pahina Central, Pahina San Nicolas, Punta Princesa, Sambag I, San Nicolas Proper and Sawang Calero, Cebu City from 1:10 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. to facilitate the temporary load transfer of Pardo Substation and back to normalization. - Wenna A.
