"This is in response to the increasing demand of goat's milk from the nutritious-conscious individuals, and manufacturers of cosmetic products," read the press statement of Cebu Integrated Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
The two-day seminar, scheduled on March 10 and 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the People's Hall of the Talisay City Hall, will tackle goat management, production and milk processing.
There will be a registration fee of P1,000 inclusive of lunch for the two-day event, snacks and handouts.
Experts like Dr. Cayetano Romares and Prof. Milagrina Romares will teach participants how to raise dairy goats and develop facilities for processing goat's milk on a commercial scale.
CIFMPC is the same organization tasked by former congressman Jose Gullas to manage his goat-raising project in Naga town. This project allows its members to breed Anglonovian and Bauer goats, the hybrid types.
