The victim, a native of sitio Maypay 2, barangay Capitan Claudio, Toledo City, told policemen that a 17-year-old girl brought her to Talisay City saying she can find work there.
The older girl, who was also from Toledo City, took her to barangay Tabunoc to meet her prospective "boss", then got on a jeepney heading to barangay Pardo, Cebu City, with two men.
The victim told the Women's Desk Officer that her "boss" whom she only came to know as "Loloy" brought her to a nipa hut under a bridge which crossed a dry river. It was there where he raped her.
She said that since it was nighttime she could not exactly identify the place and did not see much of his features.
The victim, who is now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, said she was only able to escape from Loloy after she told him she had to go to her sister's house. - Liv G. Campo
