The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group seized about 250 pieces of Playboy digital and video compact discs with an estimated total worth of P22,800 from a store inside a mall yesterday afternoon. No one was arrested.
The video discs were authentic and bore the holographic stickers of the Videogram Regulatory Board but raiding team leader C/Insp. Rex Derilo said the discs were seized based on an earlier complaint that these items violated City Ordinance 1408 or the anti-indecency ordinance.
City Anti-Indecency Board chairman Dr. Rene Bullecer has complained to CIDG that video items allegedly showing lewd or obscene films were reportedly sold inside the mall. - Ryan P. Borinaga
