The city council adopted this corollary motion in view of the July 21 inspection report endorsed to the city council by the joint inspection team through the business permit section officer-in-charge Elisa Gonzales.
The team inspected around 20 boarding and lodging houses situated in the city's north district in compliance to the resolution adopted by the city council last May 25.
The report revealed that many of these structures lack one or two necessary permits, including business, sanitary and fire safety permits as well as those from the office of the building official, zoning office and mayor's office for the business permit.
The city council ordered the business permit section to furnish the city council result of its inspection of all the boarding and lodging houses in the city's north and south districts not later than August 25.
