CEBU, Philippines - “Wired is an alternative way of Friday night fun. We believe that students should have an avenue to get ‘wired,’ get wired with God and get wired with right people,” said Wired’s Program Director, Blessy Gokotano.
Wired was formally launched on August 28, 2009 by a group of students and a few young professionals. This started out only as a Friday youth gathering until they decided to label it as ‘wired’ so that it will be easier to remember. From there, students now get wired every Friday at 5pm and 7pm at Victory Center Cebu.
According to Vince Edbert Nograles, Wired Band’s Worship Pastor, “Wired is the place to be for young people in Metro Cebu wherein we offer a whole lot of fun and excitement from a showcase of talents to games, videos, live music-bands from different campuses topped with captivating praise & worship and inspiring messages.”
And as they celebrate their first anniversary, they are inviting all the students from all over Metro Cebu to get wired on August 27, 2010. The fun starts at 6pm only in Victory Center Cebu, 3F Dakay Bldg (infront of BPI-Escario) Escario Street.
