CEBU, Philippines – Mogambo Springs, the Spa at Plantation Bay, was awarded the Best Spa Experience in Asia by the recently-concluded Asia Spa and Wellness Festival Gold Awards 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Gold Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of spas, wellness centers and resorts across Asia.
A mystery visit by a member of the Awards panel of judges included ratings on the following areas: spa ambience, design and cleanliness; customer service, staff presentation, product knowledge and value; pre-treatment, treatment (technique, execution and efficacy) and post-treatment; treatment menu, and products used.
Mogambo Springs was also short-listed for the Best Spa Therapist Team of the Year by Asia Spa’s Crystal Awards in Hong Kong, November 2008.
