Jojo and Pilar Ouano was a picture of a happy and fulfilled couple when their dream house of 22 years became a reality. The house warming with some 200 friends and relatives in attendance was held last February 28. It was a double celebration since that day happened to be Jojo and Pilar’s 22nd year wedding anniversary.
The European–inspired manse sits majestically on top of one of the hills of Maria Luisa Estate Park in Banilad. The impressive finish product is the fruit of the couple’s hardwork and patience which took roughly two years in the making considering the intricacy and the massive design of the house. Pilar, a frustrated interior designer and architect herself, meticulously worked hand in hand with the architect and contractor, making sure that even the minutest details of what she wanted will be achieved. Jojo, on the other hand, took care of the technical side of the construction.
No less than Msgr. Rommel Kintanar, parish priest of St. Joseph Parish in Mabolo did the blessing of Jojo and Pilar’s dream abode. Right after dinner, Pilar, together with her friends, danced the night away with the help of some dance instructors which she got for that special night to add entertainment for that one happy occasion.
Dreams really do come true! To Jojo and Pilar, congratulations and more blissful years ahead! Cheers!
