Ushering in the holiday season, Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino invited some friends from the media, valued patrons, hoteliers and local VIPs to witness the unveiling of the baroque-inspired Christmas tree with white, silver and plum trimmings. The tall, dark and handsome Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino General Manager, Hembler Mendoza, welcomed everyone warmly with his usual be-dimpled smile with his equally pleasing and gracious staff, Marketing and Communications Officer Lara Naomi Verdan- Agua and Sales Manager Shelly Arciaga. The Marigondon Elementary School pupils serenaded the guests as they entered the main lobby of the hotel.
The Christmas tree masterpiece of Elaine Cooper with the help of the stunning Janice Banez-Minor was unveiled by Lapulapu City Mayor Arturo Radaza and his first lady Paz Radaza after a short prayer by Bro. Lito Degamo and the welcome address by Hembler Mendoza. Seen that night too, was Department of Tourism Region 7’s energetic regional director Dawnie Roa. Thereafter, the Voice of Cebu presented beautiful Christmas carols before an impressive acrobat show by some local talents. Before the night ended, a “Little Royals Costume Contest” took place with 15 little boys and girls participating. The night’s hosts were Ma. Lourdes Parrenas and Rius Anthony Agua.
So far, Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino Mactan’s Christmas tree is one of the best I’ve seen this early. Do drop by the airport hotel and see for yourselves what I’m talking about. Cheers!
