Good news for food enthusiasts! Pier One Bar and Grill recently opened here in Cebu.
Pier One, one of the most successful restobars in the Philippines, officially opened its eleventh franchise last June 2 at the second floor of The Walk at the AsiaTown I.T. Park in Lahug, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña and Councilor Jack Jakosalem were among those who graced the opening while famous Cebuano band Stage Crew provided entertainment for the guests.
Pier One, which has already established solid line-up in Iloilo, Manila, Makati, Pasay, and Subic, boasts of a fishing village ambience. It serves a total of 190 dishes – both local and international cuisines. Though most of the items come from Manila, there are also items made in Cebu like the Lechon Liempo. They serve appetizers, soups, salads, veggie dishes, pork, beef, poultry, seafood, noodles and an assortment of drinks. Their specialties include Lechon Sisig, Sizzling Beef Litid, Beef Salpicao and Cebu’s Lechon Liempo. They also serve Crispy Tawilis and Grilled Salmon Salsa Verde, a dish that won in the 2008 Food and Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge held in Singapore.
Giovanni Ong, president of Innovative Culinary, said they also plan to open another branch of Pier One in Parkmall, with an area covering three storeys – the biggest restobar in Cebu.
