Mandarin Oriental and Fastem launching

Mandarin Oriental Manila’s GM Helmut Gaisberger made a quick visit to Cebu a week ago with Director of Communications Charisse Chuidian who exerted every effort to gather media friends for lunch at the Buona Forchetta (owned and managed by the irrepressible Paolo Pasini) in Lahug. The Italian menu was exceedingly good, and the overly nice Paolo offered red and white wines, on the house.

Anyway, the Mandarin Hotel bigwigs came to inform the media group of the latest goings-on at the hotel. This year, Mandarin Oriental Manila is undertaking a P87.5 million renovation with the opening of two guest facilities in the first two months of the year.

An award winning global hotel, well-recognized for providing luxurious experiences around the world, the Group is focused on expanding its global presence, as well as increasing the appeal of its hotels, in particular to the sophisticated leisure traveler with new brand-defining services and amenities. These include the luxurious and holistic spas at Mandarin Oriental, the "Hideaway Resorts", award-winning restaurants and bars, and highly sophisticated guest entertainment systems with other cutting edge technology.
