Ready, get set, sew!: Project Runway hits 10-year mark on TLC

CEBU, Philippines - “One day you’re in and the next day you’re out” will be the advice forever ingrained in our minds when we think of the cut-throat world of fashion design. Ten years on, Project Runway  proves that it still has the threads to work the runway of reality television with a brand new season of high fashion and designer drama. For Project Runway's milestone tenth anniversary, expectations in the new season are sky-high for the fresh crop of budding designers.

Hosted by supermodel and fashion maven Heidi Klum, Project Runway continues to provide talented designers with a golden opportunity to launch their careers in fashion, under the watchful eye of mentor and Liz Claiborne Chief Creative Officer Tim Gunn with judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

All the stops are pulled in this celebrated season featuring a live runway show in the middle of Times Square, a dream spot to showcase their creations in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, as well as a star-studded list of guest judges including Anna Sui, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Hudson. Project Runway premieres on TLC every Saturday starting June 22 at 9:00 p.m., Encores every Monday at 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 pm. and Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.

In this14-part season, 16 of the most talented budding designers in America have their eyes on some of the most attractive prizes ever offered on Project Runway. The last fashion designer standing on the runway is entitled to USD$100,000 from L’Oreal Paris to start his own line, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine, a 2013 Lexus GS 350, and a USD$50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel. The victor is also handed the dream opportunity of designing and selling an exclusive collection at upscale specialty-retail store Lord & Taylor.

With iconic locations, unconventional challenges and the biggest names in the industry, Project Runway continues its winning streak of gold-standard fashion reality programming in an all-new exciting season.
