CEBU, Philippines - "Maalaala Mo Kaya" presents a timely family story this Saturday (December 31) featuring the award-winning 'Parol' episode that featured Enchong Dee and Helen Gamboa.
The said episode gave Dee his 'Best Single Performance by an Actor' recognition from the 2011 PMPC Star Awards for TV; while Gamboa was awarded with 'Best Single Performance by an Actress' by the 8th Golden Screen TV Awards.
Witness in the story how Toto (Dee), despite his blindness, inspired his whole family to win their challenges and face their lives with high hopes.
