CEBU, Philippines - Ralph Mallapre is our male candidate number 8 in Mr. & Ms. Olive-C Campus Model 2011. He is one of the candidates who are new to the world of beauty pageant. Ralph describes himself as a shy type of person but he likes to laugh a lot with his friends and family.
“This kind of competition is new to me. It feels so different, very different. I always get nervous. I always feel the pressure every time I hear this competition especially now that the coronation night is near. I am preparing myself mentally so that I will not feel very nervous,” Ralph said.
Eighteen-year-old Ralph is a Bachelor in Tourism Management student in University of San Carlos-Main. He loves to sing, draw, hang out with friends, surf the Net, play computer games and chat with his relatives.
Ralph’s decision to join the search this year is one of the memorable events in his life. He decided to join the pageant to meet new friends.
“But of course I'm still going to do my best in the competition. It doesn’t matter to me if I'm going to lose or win. What counts the most is the experience and the lessons I’ve learned from this pageant,” Ralph explained.
Ralph is the type of person who sets his goals in life. He has strong faith in himself to carry on whatever circumstances he will face in the future. According to him, these are but nuisance in life that is part of the process in order to reach his dreams. And he is patient with life and does not mind waiting for his time to succeed.
