CEBU, Philippines - Arianne Mae Manquiquis believes in the power of positive thinking and having a positive attitude. That nothing is impossible, becomes her way of life. She said that this helps her let go of the negative thoughts she may be harboring in the past.
Arianne joined beauty pageants held in different small barangays during fiestas. And this year’s Olive-C Campus Model search is her first prestigious pageant. She is happy to be chosen as one of the top 10 finalists this year and hopes to win big this time.
This 16-year-old freshman interior design student in USC-TC dreams to become a renowned interior designer in the future. She hopes to team up with her father who is a license architect and her sister who is currently an engineering student. With her updated knowledge about interior design trends, ideas, contemporary architecture and design news, they would become a great team to the world of designs.
Arianne revealed that she got her unique talent from her father. This young girl is a pretty mix, and includes drawing her favorite cartoon character Tinkerbell, baking oatmeal cookies and hanging out with friends among her favorite pastime. She describes herself as cheerful, loving and a dreamer.
Arianne sets goals for herself which she believes are achievable. She always loves to visualize herself as a successful person. Of course, Arianne does not dream unrealistic plans but she visualizes a positive outlook in life. This brings good health and joy in her life. Also, it gives her a wonderful sense of contentment that not everyone gets.
Arianne admitted that aside from exposure, the top reason why she joined the pageant is her dream to become a good role model to the young people like her. Our number 5 female candidate of Olive-C Campus Model search also believes that this pageant is meant to support youth empowerment, aside from giving emphasis on radiant complexion.
“I like to share my talent and knowledge to inspire the youth to bring out the best in them,” Arianne averred. (FREEMAN)
