CEBU, Philippines - The socialite/hotel chain heiress/fashionista announced on her Web site that she will post the exact date of her arrival on August 17.
“Special Announcement: Coming Soon! Paris will be visiting Manila in the Philippines and is looking forward to seeing her fans out there! Check back soon for more updates and an official announcement on August 17th!” ran the announcement.
Paris had first mentioned she was coming to Manila when she attended the victory party for Manny Pacquiao who had won against Shane Mosley in their fight in Las Vegas last May.
Reports vary as to why Paris is coming to Manila. Some say she will design a resort in Boracay for a property developer. Others say she’s opening another store for her line of designer wear here.
Incidentally, last month Paris briefly walked out of an interview on the American network ABC after she was asked, “Do you feel as if people like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?”
Paris’ reality TV show The World According to Paris was a big flop. In contrast, Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been topping the reality show ratings. (FREEMAN)
