CEBU, Philippines - Charice recently went through non-invasive cosmetic procedures at the Belo Medical Clinic as part of her preparations for her stint on the second season of hugely-popular US TV musical “Glee.”
Abs-cbnnews.com reported that celebrity doctor Dr. Vicki Belo did the thermage and Botox procedures to the 18-year-old international singing sensation.
The 30-minute thermage procedure was painless, but Charice was in tears when Belo injected Botox to her face, particularly in the jaw area.
Belo told Abs-cbnnews.com that the thermage and Botox will make Charice’s “naturally round face” more narrow.
The popular doctor said the effects of thermage and Botox will be gradual and visible in three months and one month, respectively.
Charice, for her part, was quoted as saying that the cosmetic procedures were important especially that she is appearing in one of the biggest shows in the United States.
“Lahat po ng mga tao inaasahan nila, ‘Ano kaya ‘yong itsura ni Charice? Karapat-dapat ba siyang itapat kay Rachel Berry?’ So, siyempre sobrang laki ng pressure,” she said.
She also said, “Isa ito sa mga big preparation namin for ‘Glee.’ Gusto ko naman mag-mukhang fresh paglabas ng kamera.”
Apart from the physical preparations, Charice is having sessions with a vocal and acting coaches given to her by the producers of “Glee.”
