CEBU, Philippines - With the aim of getting world-class artists to perform in an intimate setting, the Marco Polo Plaza is set to launch the first of its “Champagne Series” at the Lobby Lounge featuring the sweet melodies of the lovely European performer, Christina Mueller.
Christina Mueller, the Champagne Series’ first featured performer, studied music in Cologne, Germany. Since 2000, she has been touring, singing, and playing the piano around Europe with some remarkable international artists like EuroCats, Chris de Burg, Johnny Logan, John Kelly, Katrina and the Waves, Chris Norman, and Cliff Richard.
She is also the vocalist of the singing trio “Satin-Dolls”, as well as the group “Elekton”.
Now, for the first time in the Philippines, Christina shares her talent and love for music. A self-confessed fan of Filipino artists like Regine Velasquez, Christina’s repertoire will feature international hit songs along with some well-loved Filipino favorites.
“We would like to feature signature events that are world-class,” said Carlo Borromeo, Marco Polo Plaza promotions and events manager.
“Through the Champagne Series, we want you to feel sophistication with world-class artists but in a venue that has an ambience where you also feel at ease,” he added.
Mueller will just be one of the many international artists from all over the world that will be featured in the Lobby Lounge. There will be other topnotch artists that should be watch out for.
