CEBU, Philippines – Celebrating its month-long anniversary this May, ABS-CBN Central Visayas’ regional morning show, “Maayong Buntag Kapamilya,” (MBK) will be hosting a fiesta of public service events and travel, entertainment specials.
Join the morning trio, news personalities Rico Lucena and Vilma Andales and young professional, Cathy Gabronino-Aya-ay as they deliver your daily serving of the latest news, light features, health update and aerial traffic shots via the Skypatrol to your home.
Moving FOUR-WARD, MBK has more: Halad sa Kapamilya in Lilo-an. It’s a feast of services on May 9 in Lilo-an, for ABS-CBN Cebu’s quarterly “Halad Sa Kapamilya” offering. On the same day, ABS-CBN will be leading the Kapamilya Blood Donation campaign in several public hospitals. Trabaho Na! Amid the crisis, Rico’s Trabaho Na segment which features business and other employment opportunities is anchored on ABS-CBN’s call for positivism, “Kaya Ni Juan.” “Trabaho Na,” on its second year, continues to become a medium of hope by bringing forth the success stories of small and medium enterprises and other workers in various fields.
In MBKabarangay, watch out for Vilma as she drops in the neighborhood. MBKabarangay is a weekly segment where Vilma comes to a barangay to help offer solutions to a community problem.
MBK also continues to uphold its track record as a child-friendly program, after all it’s the sole recipient of the Anak TV Seal Award from the Visayas and Mindanao in 2008. In the previous years, MBK has already received recognition from different government and non-government agencies for their contribution in the promotion of good values and public service events. In 2007, the Cebu Archdiocese Mass Media Awards (CAMMA) has likewise cited MBK in the morning show category.
MBK airs from 6:30-7:00 in the morning, Monday to Friday.
