VUDU's 7th Annual Halloween Ball

For one weekend only, this October 31, VUDU will open its doors to give you a preview of what is yet to come and to celebrate this year’s much-anticipated Annual Halloween Costume Ball. Backed by seven years of nightlife experience and party expertise, Vudu and Smirnoff present the Seven Deadly Sins.

This Friday, All Hallow’s Eve, unleash your alter ego and dress up in your interpretation of Pride, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony & Lust or channel sloth and come as you are or in any traditional costume. Fabulous prizes await individuals and groups who come in wickedly original and theme-appropriate ensembles, including an overnight stay for two at Abaca Resort (www.abacaresort.com), a two-night stay for two at the Tides Hotel Boracay inclusive of breakfast (www.tidesboracay.com), an Island Hopping Trip on Islands Banca Cruises (www.islandsbanca.com) and Havaianas.

Embark on an aural and visual journey and experience the deep, dark, sexy house music of Vudu’s resident DJ Maxie Perez, fast-rising and gorgeous Manila Lady DJ Bing Reyes and the main highlight of the night: Natural Born Klubbers (NBK) and Embassy Superclub Resident DJ Bombi “The Bomb” Balquiedra. Rnb & hiphop DJ Chrismyk spins at the upstairs lounge.

With more than 10 years of experience as a DJ, Bombi Balquiedra has played in prestigious establishments such as Mars, ABGs, Zu, Republic of Malate, Le Taxi, C2, Embassy Cuisine and is now one of the resident DJs of the Philippines’ number one club, Embassy. He is known for his unique brand of house music with trademark mixes of vocal, upfront and uplifting house sets. He has also opened for other distinguished DJs like Joel Lai of Hong Kong at Club 97 and Alex P of Ibiza.

The transition is about to come full circle. Satisfy the hunger and have a little taste of it for the best is yet to come. This event is also brought to you by Cebu Grand Hotel and Y101. Doors open at 9 p.m. on Friday. Judging for best costume starts at 10 p.m. Vudu will also be open on Saturday, November 1 at 10 p.m.
