RCTV’s new travel show

RCTV Channel 36 at SkyCable Cebu introduces yet another program this 2008 to its growing list of shows catering to the adventure, travel and eco-tourism market. Aptly dubbed “Make My Trip,” the program had a media launch last Thursday, January 10 at

Produced by Media One Creative, Inc. and Lyndon Angan, who also helms the show as host, “Make My Trip” brings televiewers to what has yet to be explored even in the country’s most popular destinations. “Make My Trip” also features the most promising packages for travel.

The pilot episode already aired last January 11, wherein the wonders of beautiful Bohol were showcased—from the Chocolate Hills of Carmen, the tarsiers of Loboc, to the well-kept surprises of the Municipality of Danao.

Lyndon Angan, an experienced traveller and marketer, says that “Make My Trip” is more than just a tour—it’s a cause. “Right now, we are leaving the country in droves because we think there is no future here, but the Philippines, not just Cebu and Bohol, has so much hope and promise. It’s a psychological thing that we think that we are a basket case. We have to get over that. It’s a blessing to have RCTV bigwigs like Mike Solon and Johann Young who believe in it. With the show, I’ll try to change opinions—one person at a time.”

“Make My Trip” is shown daily at RCTV Channel 36. For advertising and sponsorship inquiries, call 416-2202 and look for Judith. You can also contact the mobile numbers 09209327502 and 09226332560. Email: lgangan@yahoo.com. Each episode can also be brought home as a souvenir for P999 only.
