Her ninth album signifies her ups and downs and changes in her life in the past years. “Cool Change” appears to be Jaya’s strongest record. This also appears to be Jaya’s stand as a testimonial of her experiences in the music industry.
Jaya also rehashed songs “Just Once” and “Through the Fire,” while “Points of View” features guest vocals peer Regine Velasquez. The song “Cody’s Song” features Jaya’s baby giggle. This song is sung in a warm and kind voice that is comforting to the listeners of this new album.
