Sony Ericsson has announced the availability of the C902 Cyber-shot, a slim phone that sports a unique slide-out lens cover to uncover a high quality five-megapixel Auto Focus camera.
Made with premium materials and refined finishing, the new phone is made for the style-conscious who wants to make a statement with both the captured pictures and the phone.
“The C902 Cyber-shot phone is made to suit your classy lifestyle, keeping the state-of-the-art camera-ware hidden under its slim line frame. With just a slide, the svelte shooter morphs into a true five-megapixel camera letting you capture pictures as stunning as its looks,” said Chris Lee, Sony Ericsson vice president for marketing in the Asia-Pacific. “With the C902, be prepared to make a statement fashionably or with your pictures.”
The phone has Face Detection and Auto Focus capability to ensure every shot one takes will focus on the faces of the subjects rather than on the background. Be able to take sharp, high quality photos without worrying on whether the camera was set up right.
The phone’s BestPic and Photo Flash features ensure the user doesn’t lose any memories to the dark. Be able to take nine shots in quick succession in any lighting conditions. From there, just pick the favorite ones and delete the rest.
The C902 is also designed to bring photographic convenience at one’s fingertips. Apart from the phone’s lighting switching from white to blue in camera mode, eight camera touch keys come to life and let the user choose between camera modes, Photo Flash, Face Detection and Auto Focus, and more with just one touch without moving the finger from the shutter button.
Use x-Pict story to add music and transitions to the gallery of photos and automatically create one’s own multimedia slideshow to share with friends.
The C902 Cyber-shot comes with a 160MB built-in memory — the equivalent of storage for up to 100 full-resolution photos — plus the possibility to add even more memory (up to 4GB memory) with the Memory Stick Micro (M2) that can be bundled with the phone depending on the market.
Transfer the images on the phone to the computer by using the CCR-70 M2 USB adapter. Save the photos to the phone’s memory card, remove it and pop it into the CCR-70. Then slot the card reader into the laptop and all the photos can be dragged across.
The C902 Cyber-shot is a UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 phone now available in swift black or luscious red.
The CCR-70 M2 USB adapter will also be available in selected markets.
