Everywhere you look in this country, there’s always someone texting or calling from their mobile phone. It’s no wonder then that Konka, China’s number one radio, television, VCR and digital stereo component manufacturer, has introduced a series of affordable and quality cellular phones for the tech-savvy Philippine market.
Check out the Konka E111, Konka E222, Konka T808, Konka E167 and Konka E169 models that will upgrade one’s digital lifestyle.
The Konka T808 seems to be off to a smashing start because it was reportedly sold out in less than a month after it was first introduced.
PDA-like with its 3G and Bluetooth functions, this high-end gadget has a three-inch QVGA screen to fully appreciate the pictures taken with the two-megapixel built-in camera.
More impressively, the unit receives a crystal clear reception of free TV channels, which is a technical service that comes free of any network charges.
If one’s looking for another PDA-type phone to stay in touch with the world, then the E222 is the choice.
With its dual-SIM compartment, one need not have a second unit to connect to another network. The conventional palm-sized (111 x 46 x 12.9 mm) E167 and E169 models are competitively priced compared to the low-end premium offerings of other brands.
Grand polyphonic, MPEG 3 and MPEG 4 features are standard with a top-of-the-line Micro-SD card slot bundled with GPRS and WAP connections.
Roughly the size of a small child’s hand, Konka’s base model, the E111, comes with 16MB internal memory, aside from being MP3 and MP4-ready with stereo FM reception.
Saving the planet will be a breeze because battery-charging time has been reduced to one hour or less.
“Technology is part of our everyday life,” says Konka’s celebrity endorser Edu Manzano. “Konka asked me to try their product and the mobile phone instantly impressed me. It’s lightweight (and) the screen is so clear.”
Manzano says that the added bonus is the suggested retail prices for the phones. Konka’s tagline aptly summarizes it: “World-class quality need not be expensive.”
