The VMP2P is the technology behind the successful and multi-awarded Share-A-Load service offered by Globe Telecom.
Recognized as the "first secure variable peer-to-peer credit reloading system in the Philippines," the VMP2P allows a mobile subscriber, whether on prepaid or postpaid plan, to send top-up load credits in various denominations to another mobile subscriber who is on prepaid service.
VMobiles revolutionary application won for Globe Telecom the "Most Innovative Service of the Year" award in the recent Asia MobileNews Awards in Singapore.
"VMobile provides mobile network operators with solutions that preserve the integrity of their networks, even as they allow people to do more and more things via their mobile phones simply, securely and enjoyably," said Mikko Perez, managing director of VMobile.
Globe Telecom contracted the VMP2P through Paysetter International, a VMobile reseller.
"All VMobile platform products such as VMP2P, while delivering innovative services, place a premium on the privacy and security of subscribers, and enhance the operators profitability by addressing ARPU and churn, two primary drivers of carrier profitability," Perez said.
Aside from Paysetter, VMobile has licensed some of its technologies globally. It is focused on developing proprietary technologies that complement current platforms while developing entirely different ones.
