Chinky Alcedo, Globe Handyphone marketing head, said the idea behind Txt Bak Mo Libre Ko comes from Globe subscribers "who want to ensure a reply by subsidizing friends or employees or their childrens text replies, especially during urgent situations."
Alcedo said Globe subscribers who use this new service will find that Txt Bak Mo Libre Ko "subsidizes the reply of the message recipient who might not always have load, thus ensuring their reply."
"In the same way, load-strapped message recipients do not need to worry about not being able to reply since the service enables them to reply for free," Alcedo added.
Developed by the Manila-based Paysetter International, Txt Bak Mo Libre Ko operates the same way as the award-winning Share-A-Load where numeric keywords are utilized to determine the corresponding amount to be charged the subscriber.
Thus, Globe subscribers who send a text message via Txt Bak Mo Libre Ko are charged the specified amount for both the message sent and the text reply.
Txt Bak Mo Libre Ko is easy to use. Theres no registration and can be used anytime. All a sender has to do is add the number 33 to the 10-digit cellphone number of the person he is trying to reach.
The subscriber who initiated the text message is billed P2 for every message sent and the recipient can reply for free.
Txt Bak Mo Libre Ko is the latest in a range of innovative load-sharing services introduced by Globe. Just recently, the mobile innovations leader pioneered Share-A-Load and Call and Text Collect which ensure easy and accessible communications between Globe subscribers.
The popular Share-A-Load application was named the "Most Innovative Service" at the recent Asian Mobile News Awards in Singapore.
