MANILA, Philippines - Vibal Group Inc. recently announced that it is now a Chromebooks for Education software reseller in the Philippines.
The company can now resell the Chrome Management Console software from Google that will allow schools to manage the Chromebooks that they purchase.
This also complements Vibal’s partnership with Chromebook hardware provider Acer, as demand for mobile learning devices in education increases in schools around the country.
Currently, Vibal has around 150 partner schools all over the Philippines implementing tablet education programs.
These programs incorporate the use of Vibal products and services such as interactive e-textbooks embedded with rich multimedia assets and knowledge base; Vibe Reader, a reading app with customizable features available for multiple platforms; and an integrated learning management system called V-Smart that enables collaborative, mobile, and social learning and engagement.
The bundling of Chromebooks with V-Smart and Google Apps is seen as an attractive product that can harness the power of technology to facilitate 21st century learning in Philippine classrooms.
The Chrome Management Console software gives schools a secure way to deploy and manage apps across the Chromebooks that they purchase.
In addition to improving access to this software in the Philippines, Vibal and its partners can provide training and support to schools to get the most out of this technology.
