Contact center confab, expo slated in Cebu

CEBU CITY , Philippines   â€” With the theme “Where the World Meets the Philippines,” contact center professionals from various countries will converge at the International Contact Center Conference and Expo (ICCCE) 2013 on Aug. 28-30 at Shangri-La’s Mactan and Radisson Blu in Cebu City.

The ICCCE is the flagship event of the Contact Center of the Philippines (CCAP), the trade group that represents more than 80 global and local contact centers operating in the Philippines. Now on its ninth run, the ICCCE is the premier trade show for contact center professionals worldwide.

The three-day event features leading industry veterans, analysts, economists, and experts in operations, business development, talent management, and information technology who will present new insights, discuss trends, and share best practices.

“ICCCE 2013 marks a major milestone as CCAP brings the event to Cebu for the first time,” says Benedict Hernandez, president of CCAP.

“We are excited to bring the ICCCE to Cebu. This is our way of promoting not just our industry but Philippine tourism as well to local and international delegates,” he adds.

Known as the Queen City of the South, Cebu is a major hub for contact centers, ranked among the top 10, along with Metro Manila, in Tholon’s Top 100 Outsourcing Destinations Report.

This year, the ICCCE is introducing exciting new formats that guarantee more in-depth presentations and dynamic group discussions, including roundtable discussions, master classes, briefings, workshops, and demos.

There will also be more opportunities for networking and leisure, such as networking nights, after-conference parties, water sports, and city tours.

The Philippines is the number one destination for outsourced voice services in the world. The ICCCE 2013 is the venue to learn from innovative and leading-edge practices in contact center operations, people management, and technology application.
