MANILA, Philippines - As part of its continuing corporate social responsibility project, Toshiba Information Equipment (Phils.) Inc., in partnership with the Ayala Foundation, recently turned over 303 units of 32-inch Regza LED TV sets to the Text2Teach project for distribution to recipient public schools across the country. The project will be undertaken in three years and will deliver a total of 853 LED TVs to public schools through the Department of Education. Text2teach is an effective teaching tool that has made teaching and learning more interesting and effective. It has helped students have higher learning gains in schools, and decreased absenteeism in public schools.
