Switchers top list of new Smart Galaxy S III owners

MANILA, Philippines - When you feel you have had more than your fair share of frustrations, it’s time to wise up and do the Smart thing.

For Arianne Baheda, Brenneth Villapando, and Karla Viray, the choice was clear as they switched from their old mobile service providers and joined the Smart family.

“I had many issues with both customer service and mobile service quality when I was on postpaid for six years and on prepaid for five and a half years,” said Baheda, a 29-year-old language trainer from Mandaluyong City.

The same goes for Brenneth Villapando, 30, an accountant from Makati who complains that she got tired of “always having weak signal and no data connection.”

Villapando is the first owner of the Smart Samsung Galaxy S III in the Philippines. She received her unit with a Smart Unli Data Plan 2000 subscription during the official launch last June 1 at the Jump Experience Center in SM Megamall, along with a free Samsung Galaxy Note as a special token from Smart.

Meanwhile, for Viray, senior marketing head of music and video retail chain Odyssey Records and an avid Twitter and Instagram user, switching to Smart has quickly become one of her best decisions yet.

Having availed herself of the Apple iPhone 4S from Smart last December, she did not think twice about getting a Smart Samsung Galaxy S III when she heard the news.

“I have already heard of the Galaxy S III before and had anticipated its Philippine launch,” said Viray.

When asked how she has liked her stint with Smart, Viray said she is “very, very happy.”

“In fact, I have converted a lot of my friends and colleagues in the industry into switching to Smart,” Viray continued.

“These are real world stories that you just cannot make up,” said Smart chief wireless advisor Orlando Vea. “If you want your own series of horror stories to end, it is time to ‘live more’ by joining our 50 million-strong network.”
