CEBU CITY, Philippines — Convergys Corp., a global leader in relationship management, has announced the availability of hundreds of jobs in the province of Cebu.
Convergys formally launched the “Cebu Invasion and Fashion Show” recently, during which it recruited new employees to fill approximately 640 new positions made available from new work headed to the province.
Following the successful launch of Convergys’ “Wear Your Dreams Campaign” at the Glorietta 5 dedication ceremony last October, Convergys pulled out all of the stops once again.
The Cebu recruitment fair featured another exciting Bench fashion show featuring Convergys employees, university students, and the main attraction, “Dream Ambassador” Enchong Dee.
Singer Billy Crawford was also on hand to give a heart-pounding show, performing his biggest hits exclusively for those in attendance.
“We recently hit a milestone in our operations, reaching 20,000 employees in the Philippines alone,” said Marife Zamora, Convergys vice president and country manager.
“Our dedicated agents have proven over and over again that they are the best and the brightest in the Philippines. Because of their outstanding performance and stellar reputation within the industry, we have more clients requesting that their customer support operations be located in the Philippines,” she added.
