CCAP Call Center 101 seminar back

MANILA, Philippines - With the huge success of the Call Center 101: Fundamentals of Call Center Operations Seminar, the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) is holding this year’s third run of the event on Nov. 17, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Ruby Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila Hotel.

A project of the CCAP, the Call Center 101 seminar series has been running for the last four years.

Earlier this year, the Fundamentals of Call Center Operations was held at the AIM Conference Center (March) and at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel (May).

The fourth run is scheduled in December in Davao City. A record in its history, this is the first time that the CCAP is holding this seminar four times in one year. Those who will attend will get a bird’s eye-view of call center operations from industry practitioners, find out how they can profit from the booming call center industry, and leverage their knowledge as industry professionals, vendors or service providers. It boasts of top-caliber speakers who are all veterans in call center operations, namely Benedict Hernandez, CCAP president and COO of Accenture; Rommel Regino, senior director for operations of Sykes Asia Inc.; Jojo Uligan, CCAP executive director and board secretary; Annie Reyes-Pineda, president and COO of Pacific Hub Corp.; Roland Gaerlan, vice president for business development of Advanced Contact Solutions Inc.; and Penny Bongato, director for HR and administration of Logica Phils.

The seminar covers every key area of call center operations, including an industry overview, the call center business, startup requirements, financial metrics, human resource development, business development, and call center technologies.
