Intel to train 20,000 teachers on technology use

Jonathan Geronimo, 18, died a hero one stormy Monday in May. He was a top student in his university, an active youth leader in his parish, and he had established an organization that helps out-of-school youths learn some livelihood skills. That fateful Monday, someone tried to snatch his cellphone in Recto and he resisted. A seven-inch blade pierced his liver – he didn’t make it the UST Hospital.

Geronimo’s friends, relatives and co-workers decided to spread word of his life and deeds to inspire others to take an active part in alleviating society’s many ills. They published a book and organized seminars. But they want to reach to other Filipinos both here and abroad, too. For this, they contacted Tribute2you.com.

Tribute2you.com is Manila Memorial Park’s online memorial site dedicated to preserving the memory of a departed loved one through photographs, writings and testimonials. For a fee, Tribute2you can create special tribute pages for clients. It’s easy to avail yourself of its services: just fill up a form online (under the Contact Us section) and, within a few days, a representative will contact you. You can give inputs on how you want the tribute pages to look like and you can provide photos, journal entries, essays and other materials for the pages. What’s more, clients can upgrade the pages daily at an affordable price.

Tribute2you’s sample tribute pages are still under construction but it’s obvious that something special is going on – among the tribute pages being put up are of Ninoy Aquino, Ernesto Lagdameo and Jose Diokno. Plus, the site is fast to download onscreen, is cleanly made and easy to navigate, thanks to header and side buttons.
