MANILA, Philippines - While a lot of juicers are available in the market today, consumers must choose the right machine. The slow grinding to extract nutrients from fruits and veggies guarantees that essential enzymes are not lost in the process. Slow is good.
Hurom’s Low-Speed Technology System (LSTS) and user-friendly design have set the new standard for the juicing industry.
A recent study was conducted by the Food Development Center for the Hurom Slow Juicer using cherry tomatoes to evaluate and verify the “layer separation phenomena.â€
The results showed that the cell structure of tomato juice produced from high-speed juicer was destroyed while the cell structure of juice from the Hurom Slow Juicer was preserved.
A layer separation appears immediately in the tomato juice produced from high-speed juicer with the finely divided pulp at the upper portion of a glass container and the yellowish liquid at the bottom. On the other hand, tomato juice produced from Hurom did not manifest any separation.
When it comes to flavor and taste, tomato juice produced from high-speed juicer decreased in intensity to “slight†when compared juice produced from Hurom.
The study further confirms that the vitamin C content of tomato juice from Hurom was higher (28.2 mg ascorbic acid/100g) when compared to tomato juice extracted from high speed juicer (24.4 mg ascorbic acid/100g). It also has higher yield of about 16 percent compared to juice from high-speed juicer.
The LSTS has patent applications in 40 countries, including the United States, the European Union, Japan, and China.
Hurom captures live enzymes as well as nature’s taste and nutrition that only live fruits and vegetables can deliver. Because Hurom presses out the juice, most of the nutrients and taste are maintained, unlike traditional juicers that rip apart enzymes and nutrients, thus destroying nutrition.
According to the British Medical Association, “it does more harm than good if you grind fruits in a mixer and drink it.†Hurom is the perfect combination of innovative technology and advanced engineering. Its unique extraction maximizes the nutrients and flavors you get from fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens.
Alternative medicine are rarely prescribed in the Philippines. Enzymes are the precursors to recovery. Once ingested, they start the repair and healing processes of our systems. People are so used to the Western approach of medicine. Oriental cultures have longer and better quality of life and juicing is a big part of their diets.
Hurom is a 39-year-old company based in Korea. Since 1974, it has only manufactured juicers for wellness and never diversified into any other product. Its dedication to the well being of people around the world has remained steadfast and unwavering.
