MANILA, Philippines - Construction at the township community and commercial strip projects of lifestyle property developer Earth+Style is in full swing, contributing to the expansion of the real estate sector in the country that experiences robust demand for new homes and office space.
Victor Manarang, president and CEO of Earth+Style, said the group pursued the development and expansion of its projects this year, amid the steady brisk demand for housing units mostly from the middle-income segment. Earth+Style has three business units: Earth+Style Corp., Earth Prosper Corp. and Earth Aspire Corp. that cater to the different categories of the middle income market.
Also fueling the group’s growth is the increase in demand for office, commercial and retail space among start ups and new businesses in strategic urban areas where there have been significant growth in economic activities recently. The Philippine economy experienced a 7.9 percent growth in the second quarter of 2010, on the back of a 27.7 percent surge in real estate sales.
Manarang said site development at One Asia Business Center, Earth + Style Corporation’s business and lifestyle hub at the heart of Jubilation New Biñan (JNB), is on track and on schedule, with Phase 1B having been completed and Phase 1C nearing completion. Landscaping will soon commence, he said.
Asia Pacific Medical and Wellness Center, a medical and wellness building, will soon rise at One Asia Business Center.
Development of Jubilation New Biñan Commercial Strip, Earth + Style Corporation’s latest commercial strip project in Laguna, has already begun and is expected to be completed within two to three months.
Residential project developments are also in full blast this year. Earth Prosper Corporation reported that Villagggio di Xavier – Dolce Vita also in JNB, is undergoing construction. JNB is a 150-hectare masterplanned township community composed of lower middle, middle middle, and upper middle residences that provide lovely architectural themes with corresponding lifestyles for homeowners: Asian living, American lifestyle, and Italian design.
Anticipation over the Model Home Park Series of Dolce Vita, with Italian architecture, is heightened with the expected completion of model units in the second half of 2010.
Also ongoing is the site development for The Promenade Residences along Molino Road in the industrial province of Cavite. The project’s Model Home Park Series of American-styled homes will be up for viewing soon.
Manarang said sales in the whole JNB project remain robust. Residents in the JNB community are expected to reach 27,965, upon the project’s full development, he added. For more information about the projects, contact Earth+Style at 470-1093 or visit www.earthandstyle.com.
