MANILA, Philippines - It’s true: those who sow good seeds will enjoy good fruits.
With every good deed for the planet, big or small they might be – recycling, planting trees, changing one’s diet, using public transportation – there’s a great reward in the end for everyone: a cleaner, safer world. And in the recent launch of Nuvali, Ayala Land’s rising metropolis in the South, the highlight focused on the importance of living the eco-friendly lifestyle, for the good of all.
“The decisions and actions we make can affect our natural community and can be a determinant of our future existence,” says Glenna T. Galupo, Senior Manager for Project Development. “And eventually, this also goes back to us in the end. That is why it is our responsibility to nurture the planet by living an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.”
During the Nuvali launch, various environment- and family-friendly activities were held, such as the Evoliving Duathlon which kicked off the Nuvali festivities, the kite camp (kite making and flying) by the open grounds fronting Solenad, the RC Regatta Challenge as well as a relaxing spa experience both facilitated by the Lakeside Evoliving Center. Those who came were entertained by popular as well as up-and-rising local artists like Paolo Valenciano, The Company and the students of Philippine High School for the Arts in a concert that celebrated the rise of social, economical, and environmental sustainability.
