Telus International Philippines, one of the leading companies in the outsourcing industry, has officially started the construction of its new site at the Araneta Center Cyber Park in. Expected to open in late 2008, the site is an addition to the current of Telus in Ortigas and Taguig.
The construction of the new site demonstrates Telus’ commitment to expanding its presence throughout the Philippines. The groundbreaking ceremony was graced by Quezon City Mayor Sonny Belmonte, Araneta Center Group Vice Chair Judy Araneta-Roxas, Araneta Center COO Rene dela Cruz, Telus International president and CEO Javier Infante, Telus International SVP for Operations Paul Egger and members of the Telus leadership team.
“We are very excited about the expansion to our fourth site in the Philippines,” said Javier Infante, president and CEO, Telus International Philippines. “As the largest of our sites, the new location will accommodate our growing client base and demand for new team members. It will continue to position our company as a premier outsourcing provider with world-class facilities,” he added.
Located across the Araneta Coliseum, the 15,000 square meter facility is in the heart of Araneta Center, the country’s premier lifestyle hub. Easily accessible by public transit, the spacious four-story structure will boast world-class facilities including 3,000 production seats, a large recuitment hub area and an inviting recreation center with activities to keep employees occupied during breaks and pre or post shifts.
