As the name of the estate suggests, half of the total 700 hectares have been allotted to four world class golf courses designed by golf legends, Isao Aoki, Nick Faldo and Greg Norman plus golf course architect, Andy Dye. To give eager golfers a taste of the finished product, the Aoki, Faldo and Dye courses are ready for some serious golfing action while the Norman course will be playable by next year, an event much awaited by many excited golfers. As all golfers know, a golf course wouldn't be complete without a clubhouse. While the main clubhouse is currently under construction, tired and thirsty golfers can get some much needed shade and refreshments at the satellite clubhouse located on the Dye and Aoki courses.
Another big pro-ject under way at Eagle Ridge is the town center that will take up 57 hectares of the total land area. Sta. Lucia tapped the master planning expertise of Glatting Jackson Kercher Anglin Lopez Rinchart Inc.and HHCP Design International Inc. for this town center to rival other town centers around the Metro. One of the main attraction here is the newly completed Microtel Hotel, which boasts of first class accommodations of 38 single and double rooms and 18 suites. This will serve as a haven for those who would like to visit the area, stay for a game of golf, do some shopping or simply get away from the stress of city life.
