MANILA, Philippines - Honda extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to victims of last week’s devastating monsoon rains and floods. To support the affected areas, the Honda group of companies will provide approximately P1.5 million toward the relief and recovery efforts, broken down as follows: Honda Motor Co., Ltd. with 1 million Yen (approximately P500,000) and Honda Foundation, Inc. with P1 million.
Honda Motor Co., Ltd., based in Tokyo, Japan, is the parent company of the Honda group of companies in the Philippines, while Honda Foundation, Inc. is the working organization for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of Honda group of companies in the Philippines.
