Gathering of motorsports enthusiasts at TRS RACEDAY at Clark

MANILA, Philippines - Tuason Racing School, the first and only professional racing school in the country, celebrates motorsports with another leg of its highly anticipated and well-attended TRS RACEDAY at the Clark International Speedway on December 11, 2011. A definite highlight of the day is the TRS Cup powered by the Ford Fiesta, where points leader, former Congressman Charlie Cojuangco, will defend against Australian Ross Jackes (Team Pacific Jet Corp) and Filipino Bobby Horrigan (Team Ford Alabang) for the top crown. The action packed race is the country’s comprehensive circuit car grassroots program, which is participated in by different race car drivers from all over the world.

TRS RACEDAY is supported by Castrol, Bridgestone, Ford Alabang, Standard Insurance, Smart Bro, Smart Netphone, Hafele, OMP, Belo Men, Official Time Uboat, Oakley, Emotion, Speedlab, ROTA, Starbrightbodykits, Hastravel and the AAP. Also happening that day is the Castrol Trackday with the BMW Car Club of the Philippines with more than 30 entries. Castrol Edge gives car owners a taste of driving on the track highlighting the superior technology of Castrol’s Liquid Engineering.

Another highlight of the day is the TRS invitational drag race which has a P10,000 cash prize at stake, trophies and gift items from sponsors. An invitational autocross will also draw out best national competitors battling for the top spot of the expected 50 cars.

TRS RACEDAY was created to bring together all grassroots racing discipline in order to show Filipino potential champions the ladder of motorsports available in the country. It is a celebration of passion and coming together of all motorsports enthusiasts.
