MANILA, Philippines - The multi award winning motoring radio talk show, Turbo Time, is now back on air on 106.7 Dream FM every Saturday, 1:00-2:30 PM.
The dynamic duo of veteran racer Mike Potenciano and radio goddess Lindy Pellicer are now joined by motoring journalist Jason De La Cruz for a bigger and better show with live tapings at Strumm’s Makati every Tuesday, 5:00-8:00 PM.
“We are very happy that Dream FM’s head, Mari Lagdameo, has given us such a great home,” claimed Potenciano. “We are Dream’s first talk show and also the first show taped in Strumm’s. This is quite an honor and we hope that everyone will enjoy the hard work done by all.”
Car enthusiasts and sport fans can expect a highly entertaining and very informative show where the latest cars and bikes are dissected, the upcoming events are presented and cool gadgets are discussed for any one’s need for speed.
Motorsports has a special place in the show with champions from all disciplines sharing their secrets and tracing their history for all to emulate. Going green is also one of the advocacies of Turbo Time. There are great discussions on how to improve fuel efficiency, the practical use of alternative and renewable energies and tips on defensive driving which all can help save mother earth and our loved ones.
The public is invited to attend the live taping at Strumm’s and participate in the lively discussions. Strumm’s has happy hour prices of food and beverage during the taping of the show. It also boasts of different genre of music bands every night and the country’s top jazz bands play every Tuesday.
Turbo Time and Dream FM have special events being planned which will include live viewing of F1 races, track days, driving clinics, off road races, treasure hunts, eco runs and adventure rallies. These will bring the show closer to the people and will be the show’s thrust for this year.
Turbo Time has won four major awards from the Henry Ford Awards and Campi’s Philippine International Motor Show in 2009-2010, making it the most awarded motoring radio show today.
