Repsol winds up eventful year

MANILA, Philippines –  2010 was a banner year for Repsol as the Spanish company was on the forefront of the MotoGP World Championship.

In the recently concluded 2010 season, pre-series favorite Dani Pedrosa dropped out of contention for the Championship after fracturing his collarbone during practice at the Japanese Grand Prix in Motegi. Despite a three-race absence, Pedrosa still finished second overall at the end of the season, while his Repsol Honda teammate Andrea Dovizioso finished fifth overall. With Repsol’s 2010 results, the company now has a total of 250 podium finishes, eight premier-class world titles and 90 victories since it began its MotoGP campaign in 1995, making it the most famous and successful lubricant brand in motorcycle racing.
